Patriot Erectors can do architectural design, not just structural and miscellaneous. We can make things look pretty too! The field team worked on the water to complete this boat dock project on Lake Austin. The general contractor had a continuous pump to drain the water at the working plain. This is a residential building, so there were site constraints. The structural steel had to be delivered by a barge because it was too tight of a space to be delivered by truck. There was a mock up to ensure what exactly the customer wanted on the corners. The boat dock is aesthetically pleasing with corners that had to be continuous and blended in by grinding down the welds to until they were smooth.
There were some issues with the decking coordination with the structural steel. We overcame this by ordering a shorter pour stop, and installing it at a certain degree to accommodate the drainage slope. Patriot Erectors helped the customer with some changes during installation.
